\u201cEs un justo y merecido reconocimiento\u201d, indic\u00f3 el presidente del Correo Uruguayo, Rafael Navarrine, en la presentaci\u00f3n de un sello que integrar\u00e1 la serie filat\u00e9lica permanente para conmemorar el Censo Nacional que se realizar\u00e1 desde el 29 de abril. El relevamiento de datos es impulsado por el Instituto Nacional de Estad\u00edstica (INE) como forma de disponer de informaci\u00f3n actualizada para el dise\u00f1o de las pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas.
\u201cEsto muestra la profesionalidad con la que trabaja el Correo\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 el director t\u00e9cnico del INE, Diego Aboal, en la presentaci\u00f3n realizada este martes 11 en la Torre Ejecutiva. El jerarca fue acompa\u00f1ado, adem\u00e1s de por Navarrine, por el director del Correo Uruguayo, Jorge Pozzi; el responsable de la Unidad Censo, Leonardo Cuello, y la subdirectora de esa \u00e1rea, Luc\u00eda P\u00e9rez.
El director del Correo dijo que el trabajo con INE le abri\u00f3 a la instituci\u00f3n la posibilidad de trabajar en log\u00edstica, en complemento posterior con la Direcci\u00f3n General de Educaci\u00f3n Inicial y Primaria y la Administraci\u00f3n de los Servicios de Salud del Estado (ASSE).
\u201cEstamos en un muy buen momento, trabajando en varias l\u00edneas y nos sentimos muy contentos por eso\u201d, sostuvo.
En referencia a la decisi\u00f3n de presentar un sello del Censo 2023, consider\u00f3 que el objetivo es recordar los hechos importantes. Seg\u00fan informa el Correo Uruguayo en su sitio web, la filatelia cumple el rol de divulgar dentro y fuera de fronteras el acervo cultural, institucional e hist\u00f3rico de Uruguay.
Aboal, en tanto, resalt\u00f3 la coordinaci\u00f3n conjunta para concretar la realizaci\u00f3n del sello y destac\u00f3 la disposici\u00f3n y colaboraci\u00f3n del Correo en las diversas iniciativas del INE, como la etapa previa del Censo. \u201cEso muestra la profesionalidad con la que trabaja el Correo\u201d, precis\u00f3.
El Censo Nacional 2023 comenzar\u00e1 el s\u00e1bado 29 de abril, cuando quede habilitada la web en la que la poblaci\u00f3n podr\u00e1 registrar sus datos. A partir del 17 de mayo, los censistas comenzar\u00e1n el relevamiento presencial o, en su defecto, solicitar\u00e1n el c\u00f3digo obtenido del autocenso. Unos 7.000 funcionarios relevar\u00e1n m\u00e1s de 600 localidades.
