La actividad cont\u00f3 con la presencia del Intendente de Canelones, Prof. Yamand\u00fa Orsi, integrantes del Gabinete Productivo del Gobierno Departamental y representantes de la Uni\u00f3n Nacional de Asalariados, Trabajadores Rurales y Afines (UNATRA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Llegaron al evento numerosas delegaciones que representaban a las distintas ramas del quehacer agropecuario y los oradores desarrollaron amplias exposiciones sobre las problem\u00e1ticas que se enfrentan en el medio rural. En ese marco, el Intendente Orsi resalt\u00f3 la importancia de la jornada, que se realiz\u00f3 a partir de la creaci\u00f3n de la Ley 19.000. \u201cEs reivindicaci\u00f3n y festejo. El trabajador rural tiene realidades y desaf\u00edos distintos, como realidades tiene nuestra producci\u00f3n, cada una con su complejidad. La ganader\u00eda es una cosa, la agricultura es otra y, dentro de esta, tenemos desde el productor familiar hasta el agronegocio. La forestaci\u00f3n, el arroz, la ca\u00f1a de az\u00facar, la citricultura, la avicultura\u2026 Cada una de esas ramas tiene su forma de llevar adelante el trabajo\u201d, puntualiz\u00f3 el jerarca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por su parte, el Director del \u00c1rea de Desarrollo Rural del Gobierno de Canelones, Pablo Gonz\u00e1lez, destac\u00f3 que \u201cel sindicato de UNATRA, integrado por diferentes gremios de la actividad rural, le solicit\u00f3 a la Intendencia de Canelones poder realizar un acto \u00fanico en este predio y nos pareci\u00f3 interesante la idea. Hoy se cristaliza en un d\u00eda de reivindicaci\u00f3n y de fiesta\u201d, al tiempo que opin\u00f3 que \u201ces importante la visibilidad de la ruralidad ya que en Canelones el asalariado rural juega un rol fundamental en la producci\u00f3n.
