Seg\u00fan el reporte de OSE y Presidencia, el relevamiento al 20 de agosto indica que en Paso Severino hay 31.480.157 metros c\u00fabicos.
Las lluvias de los \u00faltimos d\u00edas han sido una verdadera bocanada de agua fresca para la recuperaci\u00f3n h\u00eddrica de Uruguay. Y eso, entre otras cosas, puede verse de forma tangible en el embalse donde est\u00e1 la principal reserva de agua del \u00e1rea metropolitana.
El embalse de la represa de Paso Severino tiene una capacidad m\u00e1xima para albergar hasta 67.000.000 metros c\u00fabicos de agua. A principios de julio, la reserva de agua era de casi 2%: el 6 de julio hab\u00eda 1.134.484 metros c\u00fabicos, lo que representaba un 1,69% de la capacidad total.

A mediados de julio, y ante el registro de nuevas lluvias, con el objetivo de cuidar la reserva en el embalse de Paso Severino, OSE decidi\u00f3 cerrar las compuertas de la represa y abastecer la planta de Aguas Corrientes con el caudal de agua del Santa Luc\u00eda.
A eso se le pueden sumar tambi\u00e9n los valores de sodio y cloruros registrados en las l\u00edneas de bombeo, que contin\u00faan en niveles muy inferiores a los constatados cuando el agua que sal\u00eda de las canillas en el \u00e1rea metropolitana era verdaderamente salobre.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
