Hace 14 a\u00f1os se realiz\u00f3 por primera vez el encuentro Castillos en la arena en Latinoam\u00e9rica y fue en Marindia, en la costa canaria. Escultores de varios pa\u00edses esculpen grandes esculturas en la playa y cada escultura, hecha con arena y agua, lleva m\u00e1s de 10 horas de elaboraci\u00f3n. Posteriormente, el clima va desvaneciendo las piezas, por lo que se las conoce como arte ef\u00edmero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Desde esa primera edici\u00f3n, la gente sigue este evento sabiendo que cada a\u00f1o se sorprender\u00e1 con lo que los escultores ofrecen. Las obras est\u00e1n expuestas al p\u00fablico durante tres d\u00edas aproximadamente y hay un espacio para los m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os en un taller en el que los artistas les ense\u00f1an a esculpir sus propios castillos u otras creaciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Intendencia de Canelones y los municipios de Atl\u00e1ntida y de Salinas apoyan a\u00f1o a a\u00f1o este encuentro, por lo que desde hace unos a\u00f1os se lleva a cabo en ambas localidades. Este a\u00f1o participan seis pa\u00edses adem\u00e1s de Uruguay: Argentina, M\u00e9xico, Colombia, Per\u00fa, Paraguay y Rusia. Dumas Texeira, organizador del encuentro, afirm\u00f3 que hay escultores uruguayos que vienen perfeccionando la t\u00e9cnica y que el esp\u00edritu del taller es despertar el inter\u00e9s por esculpir en arena y \u201cque haya m\u00e1s escultores uruguayos\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Del 26 al 28 de enero el encuentro se realiz\u00f3 en Marindia. A partir del lunes 29, martes 30 y mi\u00e9rcoles 31 de enero, el encuentro se desarrollar\u00e1 en la bajada del \u00c1guila en Villa Argentina, Atl\u00e1ntida. El mi\u00e9rcoles 31, de 09:00 a 11:00 horas tendr\u00e1 lugar el taller para ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
