Jos\u00e9 Luis \u00abPepe\u00bb Guerra, nacido el 31 de octubre de 1943 en Treinta y Tres, falleci\u00f3 el jueves 13 de junio. Cantante, compositor y guitarrista integr\u00f3 el d\u00fao \u00abLos Olimare\u00f1os\u00bb junto a Braulio L\u00f3pez. El Intendente Departamental Dr. \u00a0Mario Silvera, en raz\u00f3n del fallecimiento de Jos\u00e9 Luis Pepe Guerra decret\u00f3 dos d\u00edas de duelo departamental con el izamiento de bandera a media asta en todas las dependencias departamentales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En un comunicado, la familia de Pepe Guerra expres\u00f3: Desde la familia cumplimos con el penoso deber de comunicar el fallecimiento de Pepe. En estricto apego a su voluntad, no se realizar\u00e1 velatorio ni ceremonia f\u00fanebre p\u00fablica. Entendemos importante informar que Pepe desde hace un largo tiempo ven\u00eda sosteniendo una dura y porfiada lucha contra el c\u00e1ncer, al que de manera valiente enfrent\u00f3 y venci\u00f3. Tristemente su cuerpo no pudo tolerar el desgaste y finalmente se fue en paz, en su casa y rodeado de sus seres queridos. De parte de sus familiares y amigos queremos agradecer las muestras de cari\u00f1o brindadas en este momento y a lo largo de toda su vida. Tal y como Pepe lo expresaba, tanto sus restos como su guitarra ser\u00e1n \u2018enmudecidas en la tierra musical donde \u00e9l so\u00f1\u00f3\u2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
