La ciudad de Tala conmemor\u00f3, el pasado 2 de mayo, su 165\u00b0 aniversario, con la participaci\u00f3n de de la Intendenta de Canelones, Profa. Gabriela Garrido, el Alcalde del Municipio Tala, Alexis Curbelo, el Presidente de la Junta Departamental de Canelones, Daniel Pereira, adem\u00e1s de diversas autoridades nacionales, departamentales y locales, instituciones educativas, sociales, culturales y deportivas.El acto de conmemoraci\u00f3n, que se realiz\u00f3 en la plaza Jos\u00e9 Pedro Varela, frente al monumento del fundador de la localidad, Don Ildefonso de Le\u00f3n, tambi\u00e9n cont\u00f3 con la presentaci\u00f3n de la Banda Departamental de Tala, que le dio el marco ceremonial a la jornada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En el marco de la celebraci\u00f3n, cada a\u00f1o se realiza un reconocimiento a distintas figuras e instituciones de la ciudad que se destacan en \u00e1reas sociales, culturales, art\u00edsticas y deportivas. En esta edici\u00f3n las y los homenajeados fueron Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Siri, Sonia Casas, Julio de Le\u00f3n, el Club de Leones, el Rotary Club y el Club Social y Deportivo de Tala. La Intendenta Garrido afirm\u00f3 que la ciudad tiene un desarrollo art\u00edstico muy fuerte y es generadora de muchos talentos en diversas disciplinas, por lo que es de suma relevancia reconocer y destacar sus trayectorias, lo que produce \u201corgullo y compromiso con la comunidad\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asimismo, la jerarca indic\u00f3 que Tala es mayormente una comunidad rural, que en el mes de abril se vio afectada por condiciones clim\u00e1ticas extremas que produjeron da\u00f1os en hogares y establecimientos familiares, con la p\u00e9rdida de invern\u00e1culos y criaderos de animales. En este contexto, la Intendencia de Canelones implement\u00f3 medidas para mitigar los efectos negativos del temporal sobre la poblaci\u00f3n. Por su parte, el Alcalde Curbelo manifest\u00f3 su emoci\u00f3n por los festejos, que comenzaron temprano en la ma\u00f1ana y que fueron organizados en conjunto con la Comisi\u00f3n de Cultura local y la comunidad, refiriendo al involucramiento de toda la poblaci\u00f3n de la ciudad en la organizaci\u00f3n de la celebraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
