El Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores convoc\u00f3 a la embajadora de Israel en Montevideo para aclarar los hechos acaecidos en Cisjordania que involucraron al embajador uruguayo en Palestina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Una delegaci\u00f3n del cuerpo diplom\u00e1tico acreditado ante el Estado de Palestina, entre quienes se encontraba el embajador de Uruguay, Fernando Arroyo, fue atacada con disparos por soldados israel\u00edes durante una visita organizada por el Gobierno palestino para corroborar la situaci\u00f3n humanitaria en la Gobernaci\u00f3n de Jenin, Cisjordania. El embajador de Uruguay y el resto de la comitiva resultaron ilesos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uruguay urge al Gobierno de Israel a investigar este incidente y a tomar las medidas necesarias para garantizar la protecci\u00f3n y permitir la operatividad del personal diplom\u00e1tico acreditado ante el Estado de Palestina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este 21 de mayo una delegaci\u00f3n del cuerpo diplom\u00e1tico acreditado ante el Estado de Palestina, entre quienes se encontraba el embajador de Uruguay, Fernando Arroyo, fue atacada con disparos por soldados israel\u00edes durante una visita organizada por el Gobierno palestino para corroborar la situaci\u00f3n humanitaria en la Gobernaci\u00f3n de Jenin, Cisjordania.
