Con el pandense Abel Hern\u00e1ndez siendo figura en el torneo, Liverpool se coron\u00f3 campe\u00f3n del Torneo Apertura tras vencer 1-0 a Cerro Largo este domingo en Belvedere. El gol de los dirigidos por Joaqu\u00edn Papa fue anotado por Mart\u00edn Rea a los 47′. Los tres equipos que ten\u00edan chances de alcanzar el Apertura ganaron, Nacional 2-1 a Defensor Sporting en el Gran Parque Central y Juventud 1-0 a Progreso en el estadio Abraham Paladino. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

El presidente del club, Jos\u00e9 Luis Palma, dijo que la consagraci\u00f3n es producto del trabajo del t\u00e9cnico, de los jugadores y por una filosof\u00eda que se mantiene desde hace muchos a\u00f1os. Adem\u00e1s, sostuvo que el comienzo del torneo no fue f\u00e1cil y que el triunfo es merecido.
