Pe\u00f1arol se consagr\u00f3 campe\u00f3n de la Supercopa Uruguaya tras derrotar a Nacional 4-2 por penales en el Estadio Centenario, luego del empate sin goles al t\u00e9rmino de los 120 minutos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los aurinegros (ganadores del Intermedio 2025) y los tricolores (campeones uruguayos el a\u00f1o pasado) abren la temporada oficial nada m\u00e1s y nada menos que definiendo un t\u00edtulo, en el reencuentro entre ambos luego de las finales cl\u00e1sicas tras las que los de La Blanqueada se coronaron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los aurinegros sorprendieron con el esquema inicial y plantearon una l\u00ednea de cinco defensores, con Franco Escobar como carrilero por derecha y Gast\u00f3n Togni haciendo lo propio por izquierda. Emanuel Gularte, Nahuel Herrera y Lucas Ferreira conformaban la zaga. El medio se lo repart\u00edan Eric Remedi, Jes\u00fas Trindade y Leandro Umpi\u00e9rrez, dejando a Leonardo Fern\u00e1ndez suelto y a Mat\u00edas Arezo solo en ataque.Los primeros minutos fueron de pura fricci\u00f3n y un tr\u00e1mite entrecortado, t\u00edpico de cl\u00e1sico uruguayo y -sobre todo- final. La imprecisi\u00f3n y la intenci\u00f3n de no recibir goles (como primer objetivo) eran aspectos notorios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En la tanda de penales tras el alargue, Ver\u00f3n Lupi y Batista comenzaron anotando con potentes remates, pero Dos Santos defini\u00f3 por encima del travesa\u00f1o en el segundo de Nacional y Britos se lo ataj\u00f3 a De los Santos en el tercero tricolor. Fern\u00e1ndez, Remedi (pic\u00e1ndola) anotaron en Pe\u00f1arol, Coates lo hizo para el Bolso, y Madruga le dio el t\u00edtulo a los carboneros.
