Tampoco existen grados de s\u00edndrome de Down, pero el efecto que la presencia de esta alteraci\u00f3n produce en cada persona es muy variable. Las personas con s\u00edndrome de Down muestran algunas caracter\u00edsticas comunes pero cada individuo es singular, con una apariencia, personalidad y habilidades \u00fanicas. Los beb\u00e9s con s\u00edndrome de Down tendr\u00e1n muchos rasgos f\u00edsicos propios de su familia, adem\u00e1s de los caracter\u00edsticos de las personas con s\u00edndrome de Down y alg\u00fan grado de discapacidad intelectual.
