La Asociaci\u00f3n Uruguaya de F\u00fatbol, por intermedio de su presidente, Ignacio Alonso, y su vicepresidente, Gast\u00f3n Tealdi, realiz\u00f3 ayer de noche en el Museo del F\u00fatbol la presentaci\u00f3n oficial de Botija, la mascota oficial de las selecciones uruguayas.
El simp\u00e1tico termo futbolista tuvo la oportunidad de interactuar cara a cara, por primera vez, con un grupo de hinchas e invitados que se dieron cita, para compartir un brindis, en la sala Arq. Juan Antonio Scasso del espacio ubicado en el monumento hist\u00f3rico del f\u00fatbol mundial.
Para eso tuvo que pasar la revisi\u00f3n m\u00e9dica y firmar el contrato que lo transform\u00f3 en representante oficial de la hinchada celeste.
Dentro del centenar de invitados al evento, vale destacar la presencia de la exboxeadora Cecilia Comunales, quien adem\u00e1s ocup\u00f3 el rol de DJ invitada, los influencers de f\u00fatbol Javo Machado, El \u00c1rabe Celeste y Guille Parado, autoridades de la AUF y la Secretar\u00eda Nacional del Deporte y representantes de reconocidas marcas nacionales e internacionales.
El presidente de AUF, con la camiseta n\u00famero 33 en sus manos, perteneciente a esta nueva figura celeste, manifest\u00f3, acompa\u00f1ado de Tealdi, y los responsables del proyecto Mascota AUF, Diego Barcia y Gabriel Carre\u00f1o: \u00abQue el lindo fen\u00f3meno que se dio con Botija sea el augurio de cosas lindas con un gran Mundial para todos los uruguayos\u00bb.
Previo a la presentaci\u00f3n oficial, Botija se enfrent\u00f3 a dos fases de votaci\u00f3n ante el p\u00fablico general ya que en primer t\u00e9rmino super\u00f3 a cuatro candidatos con el 58,2 %, considerado entre m\u00e1s de 100000 personas que eligieron su opci\u00f3n favorita, y luego result\u00f3 vencedor con el 51% de las adhesiones ante cuatro finalistas m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
