El encuentro fue sobre la avenida James S. Summers hasta la plaza Lazaroff en Solymar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cecilia Magnani form\u00f3 parte de la organizaci\u00f3n del evento y cont\u00f3 que la idea surgi\u00f3 por la necesidad de la comunidad de tener actividades dentro de la movida candombera. Adem\u00e1s, asegur\u00f3 que les \u201cpareci\u00f3 oportuno en estas fechas\u201d debido a que se est\u00e1n conmemorando los 28 a\u00f1os de Ciudad de la Costa. Aunque se trata de la primera edici\u00f3n, dijo que esperan organizar una similar en 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sobre el apoyo del Municipio de Ciudad de la Costa, explic\u00f3 que se sumaron desde el inicio y lograron coordinar con las direcciones de Tr\u00e1nsito y Gesti\u00f3n Ambiental del Gobierno Departamental, que proporcionaron todo para que la jornada fuera \u201cuna fiesta\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adolfo, uno de los participantes de una de las comparsas, manifest\u00f3 que la actividad fue \u201cespectacular\u201d y que hacen falta m\u00e1s eventos afroculturales en Canelones. \u201cLa cultura afro est\u00e1 en todo Uruguay pero hace falta que la expandan\u201d, consider\u00f3, y agreg\u00f3 que se trata de un incentivo para que llegar a m\u00e1s personas y que los colectivos candomberos exploten la cultura afro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las comparsas que participaron fueron LZ (La zandunga), Matamba, Ashanti, Libertambor, La dominguera, Lonjas del empalme y Shangrilonja.
