Los ministerios de Industria, Energ\u00eda y Miner\u00eda y de Desarrollo Social y Ancap definieron la extensi\u00f3n del descuento del 50% en la recarga de garrafas de superg\u00e1s de 13 kilos para hogares en situaci\u00f3n de vulnerabilidad socioecon\u00f3mica. La medida, que en principio reg\u00eda hasta el 31 de diciembre de 2022 y benefici\u00f3 a m\u00e1s de 130.000 hogares, continuar\u00e1 vigente por resoluci\u00f3n del Poder Ejecutivo hasta el 30 de junio de 2023.
El anuncio fue realizado en la tarde de este lunes 26 en la sede del Ministerio de Industria, Energ\u00eda y Miner\u00eda (MIEM), por parte de su titular, Omar Paganini, junto con el ministro de Desarrollo Social, Martin Lema, y el presidente de Ancap, Alejandro Stipanicic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paganini inform\u00f3 que, de esta forma, el MIEM accede a la solicitud del Ministerio de Desarrollo Social (Mides) de prorrogar descuento del 50% para beneficiarios de programas ejecutados por esa cartera, hasta el 30 de junio de 2023. La decisi\u00f3n est\u00e1 basada en la buena gesti\u00f3n de Ancap, porque las arcas del ente as\u00ed lo permiten, precis\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lema, en tanto, indic\u00f3 que la medida es de alto impacto para los hogares que necesitan acceder al descuento. Desde 1.\u00b0 de junio de 2022 m\u00e1s de 136.000 hogares uruguayos hicieron uso de las recargas a la mitad de su valor, se\u00f1al\u00f3.
El ministro de Desarrollo Social agreg\u00f3 que esta acci\u00f3n es complementaria con otras que regir\u00e1n durante todo el 2023, como el Bono Social Mides-UTE, mediante el cual unos 146.000 hogares disponen de una bonificaci\u00f3n de hasta 90% en la tarifa por energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica. Adem\u00e1s, mencion\u00f3 la eliminaci\u00f3n del l\u00edmite de ingresos para mantener las Asignaciones Familiares-Plan de Equidad.
Por su parte, Stipanicic agreg\u00f3 que Ancap erogar\u00e1 1.000.000 de d\u00f3lares por mes para hacer posible el beneficio. El presidente de la empresa estatal a\u00f1adi\u00f3 que los resultados financieros generaron excedentes para acompa\u00f1ar esta pol\u00edtica social.
